The Temptress is one of Jack’s newest
works and the setting is the South of France where
Jack Vettriano has an apartment.The girl in The
Temptress languidly lays back on her chair, her dress
high up on her toned, tanned thighs, her hand loosely
holding a cigarette. To the right of the painting we
can just see the leg of the man who is with her. Have
they just had sex? Or are they about to have sex? Jack Vettriano weaves
his dark magic with The Temptress allowing us a glimpse of the good life
the couple are enjoying in the sun on the Riviera.
