Jack at his sexual best hinting at erotic and dangerous activities. Jack Vettriano’s painting “Surrender II” shows a couple in the middle of a steamy love affair. They met in a hotel room, she has taken off her red military style jacket, which is now hanging on a hook on the wall. She is now dressed in a little black mini dress and black stockings, sitting in a chrome framed chair, her legs spread and her wrists tightly bound to the arms of the chair by a black restraint. Her male companion, whose face is not shown in the painting, is standing behind her, fastening an eye mask in place on her… She seems to be relaxed, not frightened of what may happen to her – in fact she seems to know what kind of games he is going to play…

Nice touch by Vettriano as the red military jacket worn by the girl featured in the painting On Parade is displayed in the background.
