“On Parade II ” is a Jack Vettriano painting telling a promising story of a torrid love affair. An attractive girl, dressed in a short black pencil skirt, and a red military style jacket is leaning in an open door, looking into the room, ready to enter. The setting is probably a hotel; the woman has chosen to meet her lover in an anonymous place where discretion can be assured. The painting is open ended, allowing the imagination of the viewer to take over, and imagine what could happen in the seclusion of a private hotel room.
